From the Flight Line to the Flight Deck
Dr. One Drone, Industries was founded by Mark — a U.S. military veteran with hands-on UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) experience gained in service. After years operating military drone systems, Mark brought that same precision and operational discipline into the civilian world, earning his FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and launching a professional drone services business rooted in the Florida Panhandle.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Buffalo State University and a TEFL certification from Toronto, giving him a unique combination of analytical thinking, communication skills, and technical expertise. That background shapes everything about how Dr. One Drone operates — thorough documentation, clear client communication, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
What started as a passion for aerial photography and mapping has grown into a full-service drone operation covering real estate photography, roof and power line inspections, 2D/3D mapping, LiDAR scanning, construction documentation, agricultural photography, event coverage, and business marketing video — with more capabilities on the way.

Mark
Founder & Chief Pilot
Mark is the founder, owner, and sole pilot of Dr. One Drone, Industries. His background spans U.S. military UAS operations, photography and media education, and academic study — a combination that makes him as comfortable analyzing a project brief as he is flying a precision mapping mission.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Buffalo State University, a TEFL certification from Toronto, and his FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. He operates the DJI Mini 3S — a capable platform equipped with LiDAR scanning — and pairs every flight with professional-grade Samsung Galaxy S25 ground photography when the project calls for it.
Mark is based in the Florida Panhandle and serves clients across Northwest Florida, southern Georgia and Alabama, and travels nationwide — including Alaska and Hawaii — and internationally for the right project.
